THE DEVIL’S LAST STAND
” •••• for the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
 Oh! what a world!
 You know, at one time we published a monthly column under this name; it described all the troubles that beset our nations. Yet, no matter how serious they seemed at the time, the worst of them were like a picnic compared to today’s woes, and worse, what we are very likely to face in the coming one to two years of tribulation. Frighteningly, we are at the closing years of the seventh prophetic hour, a time of great peril to the Christian body and the Israel nations.
Imagine what the Devil is thinking right now? Probably his mind is re-living his defeat and banishment from heaven, and while he has had pretty-well control here on earth, he knows what is ahead. Just like the murderer awaiting in prison for his ultimate execution, the Devil knows that soon he will be confined to the bottomless pit, pending his ultimate execution in the Lake of fire.
When Revelation 12:12 refers to a “short time”, don’t think for one minute that the Devil is unaware of Scripture, indeed, he knows, and he will do as much damage as he can in the brief time he has left. Here’s something we Christians experience right now, even in the lives of the most devout of Christians. There is greater difficulty than ever before to push evil thoughts and impulses from our minds and lives. If that’s happening to you, it’s the Devil working hard to subdue you. It sure takes a lot of prayer to overcome.
The Devil has allies amongst us, don’t ever think He does not! Scripture names them in Revelation 13. There is the Beast, charged with implementing the Devil’s last charge, like confiscation of freedoms, implementing bondage, and if you make an honest assessment of the Israel nations today, their intent cannot be missed. But the Beast’s number one assistant candy coats their evil intentions, yet the coating is falling away day by day as the intentions of this False Prophet Media become visibly aware to even the most blind of the true Christian. The Devil
will have lots of company in that lake of fire as the Beast and False Prophet will join hand in hand with him. Sadly, there are many fine journalists in the employ of the False Prophet and many good men and women in the employ of the Beast, but they have lost their courage and individualism, instead they fall in line with what is dictated to them by their Beast bosses.
We often hear that time is short. Still, how short? Has God given us any clues in the Holy Bible?
In the past few issues of TKC, we have published articles about the seven prophetic hours, each lasting 15 years. And each period confiscated great wealth and power from the individual and we re stated examples, like the gold confiscation of 1933, or the addition of the tax burden because of wars, or freedoms as the beast system gained total control. And we made the projection that the seventh 15th year period will see more confiscation than in all the previous six periods put together. We also suggested that this seventh prophetic period commenced in 2016 and would end in approximately July to September 2023.
Let’s suppose that the calculations of the prophetic years are somewhat accurate, and that 2023 AD is the last year of the last prophetic hour before the 8th fifteen-year period is upon us, 8 standing for a new beginning. And at the very last moment of the 7th prophetic hour, the Devil, his demons, the Beast and the False Prophet are all dealt with. Of course, the unscrupulous rich who have taken such unfair advantage of True Israel and the Christian body have probably gone to their day of slaughter by that time as well. (James 5:5)
I suppose our timing may be off, but it is interesting that 2023 AD could be an ending point for at least three important dates.
The first of these involves the Throne of David. Genesis 49:10 describes it thusly,
“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be”.
Then Ezekiel 21:27 tells us
“I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is and I will give it him”.
The first overturn was from Jerusalem to Ireland, the second to Scotland and the third to London by King Edward 1. The present occupant is, of course, Queen Elizabeth 2nd and it is interesting that her coronation was in June 1953 or 70 years from 2023. Evangelist Ed F. Vallowe wrote that the number “70” stands for the restoration of Israel. The number is connected with God’s punishment of Israel for her disobedience. Just reflect back over the past years from 1953 and you will realize how, since that time, the True Israel peoples have come under bondage from the Beast system and how our freedoms have been taken away. Hopefully, we will not have long to wait for our release.
The second is also from 1953, seventy years again from 2023. And it comes to us from the Great Pyramid, referred to as “The Bible in Stone”. Bible student Geoff Fabian pointed out to me that David Davidson, the noted historian and archaeologist of the first half of the twentieth century demonstrated that 1953 is the last-mentioned date in the pyramid.
The third relates to the 12th chapter of Revelation which reveals that Satan knows he has only 1,260 days (years), representing the second half of the tribulation, left to vent his fury. As mentioned earlier in this article, we are in the midst of dreadful tribulation. Our Israel nations are saddled with weak leadership and the controls on freedom are so entrenched that we the people seem powerless to combat them. And the recent Afghanistan surrender must have emboldened enemy nations and terrorist groups. Anyway, going back 1260 years from 2023 brings us to 763 AD., the year the Julian calendar came into effect. The Islamic countries, China, Korea and Japan have not converted. Whether this change/no-change means anything in Bible prophecy, time will soon tell.
As for the Devil, the Beast and the False Prophet, time is indeed short.
