WORLD AFFAIRS
A CONFUSED WORLD:
Now as I write, it is the end of August. We live at such a fast acceleration of time, that much can still happen before this year ends. But seeing that this will be my last Newsletter for this year, I want to give you an overview of world conditions as I see them at this time, and also give you a preview of that which I believe will soon come to pass.
We close this year on a world that does not know what to do with itself, or which way to go. On the international scene, we see the mighty U.S.A. bogged down in Iraq. They cannot withdraw, but neither can they stay on. The coloured races are overrunning the Western World. Chinese goods are heaping up in our stores, the Chinese economy is the fastest growing in the world and one of the reasons for the high oil price. The U.S.A. is so deeply in debt to China and Japan, that they have to prop up the U.S. Dollar to protect their own investments in the U.S.A.If anything should happen to upset this delicate balance, which is very likely, the U.S. Dollar will collapse, which will bring the world economy to an instant standstill with disastrous consequences. The result will be indescribably horrendous. I wrote in detail over the years on the danger of such an event. Think for instance on my description of our modern day Babylon in my Chapter on the Fall of Babylon in my Commentary on “THE BOOK OF REVELATION“. In the military sphere the picture is equally frightening. The essential danger is that our entire Western Christian Lifestyle can be brought to an instant standstill by the enemies of our Faith. The explosion of a nuclear bomb a few hundred kilometres above our countries can produce electro-magnetic pulses that will paralyse all our electronic systems. It is called “Electromagnetic Pulse.” (ENT).
Just think for a moment on all our systems that are electronically driven: telephones, cell phones, computers, and so on. There will be no electricity. No aeroplane will fly because it is all controlled electronically. The mighty U.S. Army, Air Force and Fleet that has been our shield and protection against all the forces of evil, especially from the east, will be out of action. No food will be delivered. All Banks will be closed. If the terrorists do not care for their own bodies to be blown up in one motorcar bomb, what will stop them to give themselves to die in order for a country like the U.S.A. to be destroyed? And these nuclear bombs can even be launched from off small boats at sea. Do you think for a moment that our leaders with all their expert advisors are not aware of these things? They are for sure. Hence their nervousness and uncertainty. Let us see what our Lord Jesus had to say about this in Luke 21:25, 26:
“And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth (there will be) distress (trouble and anguish) of nations in bewilderment and perplexity (without resources, left wanting, embarrassed, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn – at the roaring (the echo) of the tossing of the sea. – (Isaiah. 13:10; Joel 2:10; Zephaniah 1:15). Men swooning away or expiring with fear and dread and apprehension and expectation of the things that are coming on the world; for the (very) powers of the heavens will be shaken and caused to totter:” – ANT..
The Apostle Peter wrote:
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the (material) elements (of the universe) will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the elements (of the universe) will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus in process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought (each of) you to be (in the meanwhile) in consecrated and holy behaviour and devout and godly qualities. While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the (material) elements (of the universe) will flare and melt with fire (Isaiah 34:4). But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide. (Isaiah 65:17;66:22). Let me warn you therefore beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked (persons and) fail from your own (present), firm condition (your own steadfastness of mind). – (2 Peter 3:10-13,17).
THE FLOODING OF THE WEST BY THE HEATHEN NATIONS:
For ages the hordes of barbarians have been trying to flood the West. The most important and well known is surely the onslaught of Jenghis Khan whose Mongol hordes penetrated the West as far as Germany in their wars of conquest early in the 13th century. But the heathen powers waited until these last few decades to launch their final assault. This time they are doing it with their numbers. Like in the days of Apartheid they boast that they will conquer the white man at the crib and the porridge bowl. In the bigger American cities only 44% of the population are white, in 1990 it was 52%
In 36 countries in Africa each woman has 5 children. In 25 Moslem countries it is 4.08 per woman. In the West it is less than 2. In sub-Sahara there are 94.7 births per 1000, 52.9 in Moslem countries and 10.2 in Europe. Half of the black married men in England have European wives, and in the last decade the ethnic minorities rose by 50%. The Moslem adherents in Great Britain are almost as many as the Anglicans. There is a big poster in London which reads: ISLAM WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD. London is already called “Londonistan” because of the many Pakistanis living there.
There is an inborn hatred of the White Nations by the Eastern and Black nations dating from the days of Ishmael against Isaac and Esau against Jacob. The conflict has now entered its fast phase. Please read my book the “THE BOOK OF JOEL, ITS PROPHETIC MESSAGE AND WARNING” for a description of the final conflict. Joel says:
“PROCLAIM YE THIS AMONG THE GENTILES. Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up, Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears. Let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about.. thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat.. for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.. come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake. But the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel” – (Joel 3:9;16, K.J.V.)
Please also read again Psalm 83:4, 5:
“They (Esau, Ishmael, etc.) have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee.” – (K.J.V.).
In the meantime the minds and the thinking of our people are being bent, so that when this final assault is launched, our people will have no strength or will to resist. Our physical existence is being destroyed in like manner by the transfer of our factories to Mexico and the Far East because the labour there is cheaper. The character of a person without work is broken down and he becomes someone without moral rectitude. This is all according to a carefully worked out scheme to make us unprepared for the final attack.
Our oil supply is also under threat, and will never again become cheap. Thousands of kilometres of oil pipe lines and sea routes have to be protected because the saboteurs who are all part of the last onslaught are all on the prowl to see where they can cut off oil to the West.
THE CHURCH ALSO IN A STATE OF “WE DO NOT KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN”
Because the church has for all practical purposes removed the prophets from the Bible, they cannot at this time of testing do the same as Peter did on the day of Pentecost by pointing an amazed and bewildered people to the prophets and saying:
“But this is that spoken by the prophets… “ – (See Acts 2:12-16).
He also writes in his second epistle:
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the daystar arise in your hearts.”
The picture is dark indeed. Our people are being bombarded from all sides by circumstances and assaults on our thinking. Great emphasis is laid upon political and religious correctness by liberal and neo-theological arguments. We are in a frail and wounded state already through our circumstances. The man who should be the head and high priest of his family is no more in a position to give the lead. He is being driven so relentlessly just to keep head above water, that there is no time for reflection, not even to mention the family altar of days gone by. The teacher is in despair because it is expected of him to provide the education which should have been given at home. That is impossible. The consequence is that the generation of tomorrow (which is certainly going to face the final crisis of the ages}will be without faith, strength of character, steadfast principles, self discipline, self control, perseverance, ideals and integrity. If only we would have followed the example of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2: 21; 1 John 2:6) by giving the prophets of the Bible a high priority in our believing (e.g. Luke 24:25-27, 44, 45). While the prophets warn us strongly against the fearful things that are going to end this age, and we are now right in that time, they give us strong consolation about the future. The God who bore our forefathers on eagle’s wings, and did not forsake them until they had arrived in the promised land, will not now leave us until we have arrived in the real Canaan. God comforts a discouraged Elijah with the assurance that He had reserved unto Himself 7,000 who had not bowed the knee to Baal. God always works with the Gideon bands. Jesus said to His small band of disciples:
“Fear not, littIe flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
He also said about this very time we are now in:
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head; for your redemption draweth nigh.” – (Luke 12:32; 21:28).
