WORLD AFFAIRS
THE MOST OUTSTANDING FEATURE:
Every period in History has its most outstanding features by which it can be indentified immediately. So for example were the most outstanding features of Noah’s time wickedness and violence, and the danger of the Adamic Race being completely wiped out. Nothing happens by chance, all that happen anywhere will have a cause somewhere. God put a creation there to glorify Himself, to be a radiance by which He could be identified. He is good and holy and spotless. So also is His creation. The Psalmist says
” The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork” – (Psalm 19:1).
But before the creation as we know it, there was darkness. The darkness had to flee the moment the decree went forth “Let there be light” – (Genesis 1:3). But the darkness has a reason for being there, a source, and so has the light. The source, or cause of the darkness was the devil, or the prince of darkness; the source of light was God. These two are irreconcilable. Where the light shines, the darkness has to flee immedediately; where God is, Satan cannot be.
Thus God made all creation, also the earth, for His glory. On the earth He placed the Adam, or man, who was created in His image, not only outwardly, but also inwardly. He was clean, spotless, and radiated light. He had to govern and order and explore this world on God’s behalf. All things were to be transparent, all had to be in harmony and at peace with one another. Destroy this man (Adam), and darkness will step in immediately. Where as before all was light and happiness, now darkness and misery will reign. This is exactly as Jesus said, “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” – {Matthew 6:23).
This is exactly what happened when Adam sinned. The light went out. The battle between light and darkness has continued till this day. Scripture says concerning Jesus, the second Adam, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” – {John 1:5). Jesus also said: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” – (John 8:12).
If this Adam is adulterated or destroyed, there is no channel on earth through whom this light can shine, and will darkness continue to reign. This is what happened in the time of Noah. Satan and his fallen angels sowed their evil seed among the Adam seed. And exactly like it is in nature until this very day, the tares are always more prolific than the genuine seed. Their numbers and influence were so dominant that it completely overpowered the genuine (Adam) seed. Their fruit, namely wickedness and violence, filled the earth (Genesis 6:13).The Adam seed stood in danger of being completely swallowed up. God would then have had no seed on earth. As Malachi said “That He might seek a Godly seed” on earth through whom He could reveal Himself. Noah was the last pure Adamite, he was racially pure (Genesis 6:9).
AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH:
This is precisely the position today. As Jesus said: “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” – (Matthew 24:37). Compare Genesis 6:1-13. The earth is inundated with the non-Adamic races. The pure white, who is descended from Adam, is diminishing drastically. Our white people do not want children anymore, whereas the other races are breeding prolifically. Not only is corruption today the order of the day, as in the days of Noah, but violence is rife. But that is not nearly all. The Christian faith is watered down and infiltrated by all kinds of beliefs in the guise of Christianity. Many call themselves Christians, but show no proof of it in their lives. It is being said that the “Gospel” is growing the fastest among the non-Western nations, especially in Africa. The prophets have already been left out of the preaching of to-day, a long time ago.
Gone is the Govenant of God made with Abraham Isaac and Jacob. It is both politically and evangelically incorrect to preach that God has a literal chosen race on earth. It has now all become the Church where no race or culture counts. Therefore all are now “brothers” and “sisters”, no matter what race or colour. Wherefore did God then choose for Himself a special race? Why did He for instance say?: ” This people have I formed for Myself; they shall show forth my praise?” – (Isaiah 43:21) He was speaking about a literal racially pure Israel.
THE LIGHT BEARERS:
As in the beginning, so also now, the battle is between darkness and light. God is light. When Satan said to the woman, ” Yea, hath God said?” He also implied, hath God said let there be light? Study the history of the world since its beginning, and you will find that the battle has been going on ever since without stop. When God had said that Israel would show forth His praise, it was a confirmation of what He had said to Abraham: “In thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”– {Genesis 12:3). In other words, that God chose this particular race to be His light bearers. The falling into sin had brought darkness upon the earth. This implies that the original intention of God had been frustrated and jeopardised. God never forsakes the works of His own hands. Therefore the conflict of the ages is now fast approaching its climax. It is in this context that we must understand the signs of the times, or WORLD AFFAIRS. We must therefore carefully watch the power play that is in progress right now. We must fully understand the central aim around which it revolves. If not, our attention will be drawn away into all kinds of side issues and things will in the end overtake us while we are being engaged in all kinds of erroneous thinking. The chief aim of Satan is to put out the light (let darkness triumph) by destroying the lamp, or rendering it ineffective in various ways.
BEFORE OUR VERY EYES:
This battle is raging in all its intensity and subtlty before our very eyes, but we are being so deceived that we cannot see it. Take first for instance the destruction of the lamp, that is the elimination of God’s People. God chose Abraham and his literal seed through Isaac to be His lightbearers here on earth, and to eventually bring forth the true light, namely the Christ. Read your Bible and see for yourself how Satan always tried to destroy the Christ and the nation through whom He was to come. How the battle went on by first trying to keep Him from being born; but much better known is how eventually Satan tried to eliminate Him by having Him nailed to the cross. But Jesus arose from the dead on the third day, and so He also conquered death itself.
To us who know the prophets, it is also well known how Satan wants to destroy Israel through total annihilation or bastardisation. But what is not so well known is how Satan through the corrupting of the Gospel, also wants to accomplish his purpose. To succeed in this, he must first of all falsify the Word through wrong translations and the wrong interpretation of it.
A first step is to completely take out the prophets from the preaching of the Gospel. Secondly he had to camouflage the identity of the true Israel, by making her the Jew only and the Church. Where could he find a better basis than by starting with the preachers? The apostle Paul warned the elders of Ephesus with these words: “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” – (Acts 20:29,30).
One of the first things they started saying was that God had finished His call of Israel of being His only chosen channel through whom He was going to let His Light shine on the earth, and chose for Himself a new channel, namely, the Church, on the day of Pentecost. This Church would consist of all races.
Out of this followed as a matter of course that from then on all racial and cultural barriers disappear when you are in Christ. And there you have it:now the way is open for intermarriages between races. The consequence? Gone is Israel as a People, gone is Israel as a Race. And what has happened to the promises of God? Now Satan is free to push out his chest and say with his typical smirk: “Hath God said?”
NO FOUNDATION ANYMORE:
With all these foundation stones now removed, is the Christ that is preached, no longer the Christ of the Bible. Take for example the word Christ itself: Christ is the Greek for the Hebrew word Messiah. It has only one meaning, and that is, the anointed King of Israel. And who is Israel according to Scripture? Israel is the Twelve Tribes of Israel (Jacob). This is the name God gave to Jacob at Jabbok, and it means a Prince with God. The Church can never become Israel, and Israel can never become the Church. When God says to Israel,
“For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people; But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” – (Deuteronomy 7: 6-8).
If Israel, as a race, is no more Israel, these words of the angel to Mary can also not be true anymore, ” … and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end” – (Luke 1:31-33). Can you see now why the prophets had to be taken out of the preaching? Then Satan can also not be removed, and the kingdom of darkness can go on forever.
