WORLD AFFAIRS
OF THE NEW: The old dispensation as God began it, is at its end; the new is about to be born. The creation as described for us in the Bible, began with God’s perfect purpose. But hardly had it begun, when it came to a tragic end with the Fall and the destruction of the perfect.
Violence, corruption, sorrow, pain, death, et cetera followed. Nature became corrupted, thorns and thistles appeared and all sorts of abnormalities which we accept nowadays as normal, came forth. Man also became corrupted so that God withdrew His presence and man lost his exalted intellect and spirituality. Violence followed when Cain slew Abel. The sequence was first dominion, then sin and alienation from God. Conflict has reigned ever since.
NEW ERA: The reversal that must follow, has already begun – without us noticing it because we do not really understand God’s plan and the course of events. Conflict and violence which today have become common but signify total downfall and obliteration for us as humans, shall lead to the birth of the new era and the dispensation of the perfect that shall last forever. This should excite us tremendously and encourage us as believers to explore God’s Word more and more, because therein we shall find the key to what is happening today. With this series of “World Affairs” that I commenced with in the eighties, I have tried to keep track of these developments which are heading toward the end time. It has given me the courage and assurance that everything is not in vain; that God is still in control and that He will eventually fulfil that which He had planned at the beginning.
The purpose of sin, and everything that it has caused over a period of almost six thousand years, is to get man to realise his dependence on God and to get to know God’s love, because these are above man’s nature and thinking, no matter how clever we may think we are. As the Bible says, the gospel is unto the Jews a stumblingblock and unto the Greeks foolishness. Who could ever have thought that God would save the world in this manner; that the Lord Jesus would have to pay for our sins with His own precious blood; and by His incarnation would even have to taste death in order to conquer death? But this is the heart of the gospel and all other events revolve around it. Think it through for yourself.
LABOUR PAINS: There is no birth without pain and that is now at hand for mankind. It is described for us in the Bible as the time of Jacob’s trouble. The prophet Daniel describes it as a time of trouble such as was never before, nor ever shall be. During this time some of the dead shall resurrect. This is what the prophets tell us. Unfortunately, we have chosen to write the prophets out of the Bible, out of our preaching, out of our thoughts and out of our expectation. Those men of God were the only ones who heard the voice of God up to the time of Christ and wrote it down for us. For this they were killed, thrown into pits and locked away in prisons, because people did not want to hear the voice of God. But God does not allow Himself to be silenced and He also does not allow Himself to be without a testimony. That time during which God shall again reveal Himself and which has already been written by the prophets, all of which shall be fulfilled up to the very last iota and tittle, has now arrived. It is the time in which we now live, it is a time of cataclysm as the world has never yet known – and it is at hand. I expect things to start happening faster.For example, on studying Daniel’s explanation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2, we see how the image is smitten and knocked down by a stone that has come loose from a mountain; how it is pulverized – beginning at the feet of iron and clay, then the legs of iron, afterwards the thighs and belly of brass, later the breast and arms of silver and eventually the head of gold. This symbolizes the whole Babylonian succession of empires for us.
BABYLON (MAMMON) VERSUS GOD: The principle of God and the principle of the Babylonian empires oppose one another. The principle of God is Service; that of the Babylonian empires is Might and Power – regardless of who is trampled upon. It is now in the process of being turned round, that’s why we see the whole world in a state of crisis. Everything is in disorder, nowhere is there peace, nowhere is there harmony, nowhere is there rest. We must understand these times and the only way to do so is to look at it through the Word of God. Therein He makes these things clear to us and that is what we now need to understand. We have come to the end of this succession of empires. Let us now go to Daniel 2:44:
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”
Is this not wonderful? I believe that time has now dawned. If we wish to understand world events and world developments correctly, we need to ascertain what God’s Word says, because His Word shall be fulfilled on time. I believe we now live in the fulfilment of those scriptures.
APPOINTMENT WITH GOD: This world has ignored God for long enough. Jesus shall come and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David. That throne of David was never in heaven. The throne of David was an earthly throne just as the throne of the emperors was at the time of the birth of our Lord Jesus. This we must clearly keep in mind and it is now about to be fulfilled. What then is the Lord coming to do? He is coming to be the King of the house of Jacob for all eternity. And there shall be no end to His Kingdom. What a tremendous revolution will take place with Jesus, the King of righteousness, on the throne of His father David! A world of unrighteousness that is based on violence, will have to be overthrown as symbolized in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. We cannot imagine what it all embraces, but the prophets tell us about that new world – where the lion shall again eat straw like the bullock and the lamb and the wolf shall again feed together. There shall be no evil or perdition on the whole earth. The glory of God shall cover the earth like the waters cover the seabed. There is no other salvation for mankind. There is no other guarantee for mankind to be preserved. Mankind is heading for self-destruction. We see what is happening in the Middle-East. I am not going to expand on this again; I have already told you everything about this in my previous “World Affairs”.
IRAN: In my publications over the past forty years, I have indicated that we should watch Iran. In the Bible Iran is referred to as Persia. We must take note of the day when Iran sides against the Western nations, which are the present-day so-called “lost” tribes of Israel.
THE GREAT DECEPTION: Here is another revelation, namely that mankind have been and are being deceived by telling them that the Jews represent the people of God – the Jews and the Church together. My dear reader, I wish to tell you that this is a total misconception. The devil, the arch-tempter, has managed to get hold of ‘the pulpits of the world to proclaim these lies. Where could he have found a better channel for this; who would have suspected the pulpits of deceiving the world? This is exactly what has happened and is still happening. I know this is a shock to many, but everything that I have said so far is a shock. The world is going to be shocked as we once again shall emphasize in this publication. I know it sounds so utterly strange that it may be rejected as untrue, but there is going to be a terrible massacre on earth. Think about the kingdoms that are going to be pulverized to chaff. There are people in these kingdoms that are going to be annihilated. Only those who are in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
O my dear reader, may God give you grace to hasten yourself, to renew your mind. If your mind is not renewed, you shall be among those pulverized to chaff, however terrible and unacceptable it may sound. I can expand on this a great deal more and you shall find a lot about it in my publications. Therefore, I again advise you to obtain my publications and cassettes, in which I have carefully analysed it over the years. May the Lord give you grace to hasten yourself, because actually there is no time left.
At the same time, however, I also have good news for you. To explain it to you, I will return to circumstances as we now live in. For example, one of the most wonderful prophecies, which is supported by all the others, is in Ezekiel 37, that vision of the valley of dry bones. Therein we read:
“These bones are the whole house of Israel.”
Because these bones depict the house of Israel in their withered state, in their dead, bleached state, they do not know who they are. They have no idea, they just see what happens to them – like us here in South-Africa, where our people are murdered daily. Almost daily you read about a farmer who has been shot dead on his farm, or of others who have been robbed and mutilated, and so it continues from day to day. We begin to talk among ourselves like those who say in the Bible:
“Our expectations are lost, we are finished.”
We hear this daily, we see it in our politics and in our religion, there is no spark left in our people. People go from one church to the other, listen to one preacher after the other, and none of them has this message to tell of what these things really mean. We are busy telling it to the world, but just as the people of old did not want to believe the prophets, so also the people of today do not want to believe. According to the prophets Israel would say: “we are finished”, but never before in history has it been so true as it is now. That is why the Lord says to the prophet:
” Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves,..”.
Not a worldwide repentance. Who are these MY PEOPLE with whom He speaks? It is with Israel, and what does it mean to cause them to come up out of their graves? It means that they shall awaken as to who they really are. And that the Lord shall then pour out His Spirit upon them and that all of them, the whole nation, shall stand up – a mighty army filled with the Holy Spirit!
The world has never yet seen or experienced something like it. A nation filled with the Spirit of God! My dear reader, there is nothing that can stand in the way of such a nation, especially with the returned, resurrected and glorified Lord Jesus as their King! My dear reader, my brother and my dear friend, try to believe these things. A wonderful and glorious future awaits this world. O, in which God will be glorified, then shall be fulfilled what Jesus has taught us to pray. Where God’s Kingdom shall again reign on this earth and where His will shall be done. As it is in heaven, so also on earth. But I want to bring you back to our present circumstances, seeing that these are also world affairs.
STRUGGLE FOR SUPREMACY: When we look at world events, we see, or should see (but very few do see), that there is a struggle for world supremacy. The struggle is between Zionism on the one side and Islam in alliance with Russia and China on the other side. However, what is also about to ensue – thank God for it – is the world reign of our King Jesus. This is the battle during which the present world system shall be pulverized. My dear reader, you have no idea what lies ahead for you, therefore I once again plead with you to hasten yourself to the secret place of the Most High. Only there shall you find shelter and protection. Zionism, the establishment of the Israeli-State in 1948 and the fact that it is there, is undoubtedly an immense source of concern for the world, as anyone who is at all prepared to open his eyes, shall realise. The whole struggle between Jew and Arab and between Israelis and the Islam, is prominent today as reflected by events in Iraq and Iran. The Americans and the Western world under the guidance of the Church are trying to save that small number of Jews. They do not realise that nine-tenths of those Jews do not have a drop of Israel-blood in their veins. There is clear confirmation of this as I have stated in many of my publications in which I have quoted evidence from Jewish sources.
THE ROOT OF THE EVIL: With the support of the Church, the Jews lead the world to believe that they are the present-day Israel and thus are entitled to all the promises that God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These promises include, inter alia, the possession of the whole part of that world in the Middle-East, from Egypt to the Euphrates river. That whole area with all of its oil sources over which the battle is so fiercely being fought (and which affects oil prices and economies linked to it), is according to them the possessory right of the Jews. Consequently, they have the right to force the Arabs also from their possessions. But the promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob does not only relate to that specific area, but also – take note, includes the possession of the world.
At the same time Islam, the Arab world, say that they are the descendants of Ishmael and that Ishmael was the first-born of Abraham, consequently all the promises belong to them. That is why they also say that they are going to rule the world and subject it to the religion of Islam. Russia and China, each of whom is also set on world domination, temporarily concur in this because it is very convenient for them and lends credibility to their cause. Eventually, each of them aims to outmanoeuvre the other in order to become the sole dictator of the world. This is merely a summary of what is more clearly outlined in many of my publications.
The devil himself is behind all of this, because the Bible calls him the god of this world order, which he already possesses for a long time, since the fall of Adam. That’s why he was able to offer the world to Jesus during the temptation and to say:
“If thou wilt fall down and worship me, I will give all of this to thee because it is delivered unto me.”
My dear friends, these are not merely theories, imaginations or fiction. These are the things that really determine the thoughts and thus the deeds of nations. This is now happening. In this whirlpool as it were, in this bustle and wrangling in the world for supremacy, this world system with its economy is going to crash. From this will emanate: confusion, chaos, murder and manslaughter. It is not without reason that the world shows off and plays with its “swords” that glitter in the sun. Those “swords” are called atomic and nuclear bombs, poison gases and murderous weapons, because that is what the world is familiar with. In the end the world knows only one thing and that is violence, and that is what is going to erupt on this earth. That is why the Lord Jesus said that there shall be great tribulation such as was never before nor ever shall be again, and except those days be shortened, no flesh shall be saved. The world is afraid of this, they realise it, but they do not know how it works and where it comes from. This battle for supremacy originates from the unseen, and every means and every method shall be employed to achieve it. The life of a person is of no concern to the rulers and power-hungry of this world, it has no value, it does not count. Only their objective is of importance. That is why the Word says that those killed shall lie from the one end of the earth to the other. God Himself is going to enter the battle as mighty forces are siding against Him, because they do not want the King of kings and the Lord of lords to reign over them. They prefer their own king: king Violence, king Corruption, king Tribulation, king Addiction. This has always been so. Only God can bring peace and He shall do so when He has exterminated all these elements. That is why the dead shall lie from the one end of the earth to the other. I know that I am not writing about nice things, I know that I am not writing about things that one would like to read, but whether you want to believe it or not, whether you want to read it or not, it is about to happen.
THE BIRTH OF A NATION: This violent battle is but again the symptoms of a birth. A birth is painful and brings almost to the very edge of death in order to bring forth a life into the world. That’s how it works and that’s how it’s going to work on a global scale in this battle for life and death, where it appears that mankind is about to destroy himself. In this struggle a regeneration is going to take place, a regeneration of Israel. A regeneration of the people of God. Then Ezekiel 37 shall be fulfilled, then those bones shall awaken, they shall be covered with flesh, the breath of God – the Spirit of God shall again be breathed into them such as was with Adam and then they are going to stand up, a mighty army. The prophet Isaiah said that a nation shall be born in a day. Jeremiah says that the Lord shall make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. (Not according to the covenant that He made with their fathers when He took them by the hand to bring them out of Egypt, the covenant that they broke although He was a husband unto them). God will never break that covenant because He does not break His covenants and cannot deny Himself. That same law which He had previously written on tables of stone, He shall then write in their hearts, so that it shall no longer be necessary for one to say to the other: “know the Lord for they shall all know the Lord, from the least to the greatest.”
This is one of the indescribable great events when the nation will have the law in their hearts and minds. New heights shall be achieved, our intellect will again come alive. It is a historical fact that when the reformation took place, those nations that accepted the gospel, suddenly awoke from the sleep in which they had been for ages. Suddenly they arose from their primitive ways of life, they made new discoveries and discovered new worlds. A new revolution took place which was hardly noticed, but it was not nearly as great as the awakening that is about to occur. When the law is written in our hearts and at the same time the curse is eventually removed from the earth, the lion shall eat straw like the bullock, the wolf and the lamb shall feed together, men shall convert their implements of war into implements of peace and shall never again make war, because then King Jesus, the King of peace, shall reign. What a glorious era awaits us. Therefore dear friends, hasten yourselves to make this King also the King of your hearts and your lives.
A GLORIOUS FUTURE: A glorious future of peace, new heavens and a new earth wherein man shall sit under his own vine and fig-tree and no one shall scare him again, awaits us. What heights of development we shall be able to achieve! The Bible says that the things that God has prepared for them that love Him, have never entered into their minds. I believe that is what God meant when He had created Adam in the beginning and said to him, there is My creation: have dominion over it. Had Adam not yielded to the temptation of the satan and hence was there no sin; no alienation between God and man that broke that bond between them; and God never left this earth, then all of these wonderful things would already have taken place. But it did happen, otherwise God would not have had the opportunity to demonstrate His love for us. That is why the Bible speaks of the excellence of love. That is what the world also needs to recover, that love of God that prevails in the heart. Then the mind will really achieve what it was originally intended to, namely these things that never entered into our minds. O, then our nice cars, the things we think are nice and for which people sell their souls, shall be like a filthy rag in comparison to that which is coming and which God intended for us. This my dear friends, is what we must keep in mind. May God give you grace so that this “World Affairs” which I bring to you in my old age, will serve to encourage you to investigate these things in the Bible for yourselves. I want to end this “World Affairs” by saying to you: have courage, the best is still to come, but repent so that the Lord can change your hearts, so that the Lord can restore everything that He wrote down for us through His prophets from the beginning of the world.
