WHY ARE WE NO LONGER A “GREAT” BRITAIN?

Let us look at the state of Great Britain today:-
Our British Empire has fragmented into a vague Commonwealth of Nations with no cohesion or firm foundation, but only a weak allegiance to our Queen.

When we were a Great Britain, with a strong and faithful Church of England, every day and in every church throughout the Empire, prayers for the Queen’s Majesty would be included the morning and evening church services. Such daily services and prayers for the Queen and country have long been omitted by most of the C. of E. churches throughout the world.

The prayer for the Queen’s Majesty within our Book of Common Prayer is still used by such churches and Cathedrals that adhere to our official form of worship:-

‘O Lord Our Heavenly Father, High And Mighty, King Of Kings, Lord Of Lords, The Only Ruler Of Princes, Who Dost From Thy Throne Behold All The Dwellers Upon Earth; Most Heartily We Beseech Thee With Thy Favour To Behold Our Most Gracious Sovereign Lady, Queen Elizabeth; And Replenish Her With The Grace Of Thy Holy Spirit, That She May Alway Incline To Thy Will, And Walk In Thy Way: Endue Her Plenteously With Heavenly Gifts: Grant Her In Health And Wealth Long To Live; Strengthen Her That She May Vanquish And Overcome All Her Enemies, And Finally After This Life She May Attain Everlasting Joy And Felicity, Through Jesus Christ Our Lord’. Amen

We are no longer a ‘ Great Britain’ How has this come about?

By failing to keep to the reverent worship of God that had been given to our nation, our power has been taken from us: no longer are we the Great Britain with its Great British Empire.

The Word of God had been given to us, His People in His country, chosen to do His work throughout the world, some 400 years ago.

Genesis Ch.28 V 13 : and behold the lord said “I am the Lord God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed.
V 14; and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south; and in thee and thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

We followed His Word, to keep all the commandments of our Lord God and to walk in his ways.

Deuteronomy Ch.28 V 1 & 2 and it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
V3 blessed shalt thou be in the city and field
V4 blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, ground cattle, increase of thy kine, and flocks of sheep
V7 the Lord shall cause thine enemies -to be smitten before thy face – and flee before thee seven ways
V9 the Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, if thou shalt walk in His ways.
V13 and the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only.

Thus was the great British Empire established in fulfilment of their God given tasks; we were spread to the East, to the West, to the South and to the North.

Look at a map of the Globe in those days, wherein English possessions were marked in red.

Red to the North, beyond the Arctic Circle, Islands north of Canada.

Red to the South, Falkland and South Georgia Islands

Red to the West, Canada and Cook Islands and Pacific Islands,

Red to the East, Palestine, India, Burma, Malaya, Australia, New Zealand and to meet the Pacific Islands.

So to the North beyond the Arctic Circle, and to the South to the Antarctic Peninsula, and then to the East and West, meeting in the Pacific Ocean , the whole planet is covered with our people,“and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed My voice.” (Genesis 22:18)

We have taken the Gospel, education, law, order, justice, and medicine world wide. We have also kept peace throughout the developing world, between the Indians, Muslim, and Hindus, etc. In Africa there had been great development of this entire continent by England, with Holland, Germany, Italy, France, and Belgium also claiming land to develop.

It is only with the understanding of the Everlasting Covenant given to the twelve tribes of Israel and the Everlasting Throne given to David that the great world-wide expansion of the British Israel nation can be understood.

This took place in the 19th.century, in Queen Victoria’s reign, when we were still an upright Christian Nation. We ended our slave trade, and child labour, whilst promoting world wide missionary outreach. The great British Empire was established and the prophecies in Genesis 22:17-18 fulfilled:

“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies, And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice.”

We were to possess the gates of our enemies, and when we look at the world globe that is exactly what we have achieved; every major gateway between seas and oceans was controlled by British Ports; Gibraltar, Malta, Suez, gateways to the Mediterranean; Aden, Karachi, gateways to the Red Sea and Persian Gulf; Colombo, gateway to India; Rangoon, Singapore, Hong Kong, gateways to Far East; Falkland Islands, South Georgia, gateway to Australia and Pacific Islands; Cape Town, gateway to Indian Ocean.

So we continued fulfilling our duties, be it unknowingly, according to the prophecies. Our enemies were also smitten before us in the major attacks by Papal countries to destroy our Protestant heritage. The Hand of the Lord was with us at all these times.

Then as we were brought through all these adversities, so the devil was preparing and working for our downfall. Satan knowing the Scriptures and the power of God given through His Word, used the return of the Jesuits into the Apostate Church of Rome and then for them to infiltrate the Church of England and beguile our leaders to seek to reverse the Reformation doctrine.

This was achieved from 1833, when Newman, an Oxford academic and C.of E. minister commenced the Tractarian movement, later known as the Oxford Movement. The tracts steadily deviated from C. of E. Doctrine given in the 39 Articles, promoting Roman doctrine whilst the Bishops did not take effective disciplinary action to stop this abuse within the midst of the church.

In 1845 Newman left the C. of E. and eventually became a Roman Catholic Cardinal. The damage had been done.

The Protestant foundation of the Church of England had now been undermined and our Church of England deviated further by not accepting Biblical Authority given in their Authorised Version, WILT NOT HEARKEN UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD THY GOD.

They have recently abandoned the use of the Book of Common Prayer containing HIS COMMANDMENTS AND STATUTES.

All the fore-ordained curses then started to come upon us.

That is why we are no longer a Great Britain but a fragmented state within the European Union. Our Empire has dissolved into individual countries with a general acceptance of the Queen’s sovereignty with them.

Deuteronomy Ch.28 v 15; But It Shall Come To Pass, If Thou Wilt Not Hearken Unto The Voice Of The Lord Thy God, To Observe And Do All His Commandments And Statutes Which I Commanded Thee This Day; That All These Curses Shall Come Upon Thee And Overtake Thee.

V16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city and in the field

V18 cursed shalt thou be thy fruit in body and land

V20 the lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation

V28 the lord shall smite thee with blindness
V30 thou shalt betroth a wife and another will take her .
V31 thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes
V37 thou shalt become an astonishment among nations
V43 the stranger within thee shall get above thee
V44 he shall be the head and thou the tail

We fulfilled our God given tasks, which accelerated through the nineteenth century and into the early twentieth century. But from 1945, after we had been delivered from the hands of our enemies, then the earlier work of Satan within the Church of England, came to fruition.

The Word of God was no longer treated with reverence and the Word of Man substituted with the introduction of Revised Versions in varying forms. Then our power was taken from us and the break-up of the British Empire began.

This was followed by further attempts not to use the Book of Common Prayer, various forms in modern language were tried until an edition called Common Worship was proclaimed with great enthusiasm. We had then been reduced to a state within the European Union subject to their laws and directives. Thus did the Lord chasten his people, who continued to reject His Word and Praise; Great Britain then lost its greatness.

But still the blindness remained, his people continued to walk contrary to His Commandments and statutes.

Babies were aborted in their thousands, the death penalty for murder was abolished, adultery is rampant in our country, marriage is discredited by our Government, single parentage is encouraged, and still our church leaders walk further away from God’s Laws.

Women Priests have been ordained in the church, contrary to the authority of Scripture.

There is now discussion within the Anglican Church to elevate women priests to be Bishops, to usurp authority over man, which will bring further chastening on our once Great Britain.

I Corinthians Ch. 14 v 34: Let your women keep silence in the churches, for it is not permitted unto them to speak, but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

I Timothy Ch. 2 v 12: But I suffer not a woman to teach nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

There is also further confusion over the question of Homosexual clergy, they seek to equate God is love against the Scriptural condemnation of this unnatural and forbidden behaviour between men:

Deuteronomy Ch.23 v 17: There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel , nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

And specific Scriptural and Godly condemnation of Lesbianism and homosexual actions is given below:

Romans Ch. 1 v 24: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
V 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
V 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
V 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

We pray continually that our Bishops and clergy will see the error of their ways and work together to bring our Church of England and the British People to worship the Lord in honesty and truth. If this does not come to pass then we encourage all those who despair at our country’s downfall to take comfort from the Words of God. Israel has always rebelled against the laws of the Lord their God, who has seen and ordained all the tribulations that are coming to pass, so we rejoice in His Judgements.

Hebrews Ch. 12 v 6: For whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.
V7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the Lord chasteneth not?

The Covenant with Israel was an everlasting Covenant, confirmed throughout Scripture, e.g.:

I Chronicles Ch.16 v 16: Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Jacob.
V 17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant.

Our country will no doubt be brought even lower, we will suffer trials and tribulations; then that is the time when we need to hold fast to our faith in Our Saviour Jesus Christ and await His coming:-

I Thessalonians Ch 4 v 16: For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
V 17 Then we, which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
V 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN.
