THE WITNESS OF THE GREAT PYRAMID
The Great Pyramid is a symbol of the Christ, Head and Body (Jesus and His Church). It symbolises, in its perfection, ‘the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ,’ in that God ‘put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the Head over all things to the Church, which is His Body, the FULNESS OF HIM THAT FILLETH ALL IN ALL’ (Ephesians 1:22, 23). The ‘head corner stone’ is the Great Archetype or Foundation Model for the finished building, and is symbolic of our Lord as the governing Head of the Body. Now, the Pyramidal type of structure is the only type of which it can be said that its ‘chief corner stone’ is also the ‘head’ or ‘apex’ stone.
The symbolism therefore represents two aspects of the Christ: (1) The ‘FULNESS of Him’ and (2) His ‘Headship’. Both existed before the foundation of the world, prepared in the wisdom and love of God: (1) To receive His saints unto Himself and in unity with Him, and (2) for the purpose of His saints being ruled over by Him, the ‘Head’. Our Lord Himself said: ‘Did ye never read in the Scriptures, The Stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the Corner.’ To be included in this Body or Structure, as ‘the Lively (or living) stones’ of I Peter 2:5, is to be built upon the foundation which is laid in heaven. For ‘other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ’ (I Corinthians 3:11). The Pyramid symbolises that this Body of Christ is the dwelling place of God, the meeting place between God and man during the millennial rule of Our Lord:
‘Ye … are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone: In whom all the building, fitly framed together, groweth unto an holy temple IN THE LORD. IN WHOM YE ALSO ARE BUILDED TOGETHER for an habitation of God through the Spirit’ (Ephesians 2:20-22; refer also to 4:11-16).
‘Till we all come IN THE UNITY OF THE FAITH, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULNESS OF CHRIST’.
‘That … may GROW UP INTO Him in all things, WHICH IS THE HEAD, EVEN CHRIST. From whom the WHOLE BODY fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh INCREASE OF THE BODY unto the edifying of itself in love’ (Ephesians 4:13-16).
This Pyramid witness, which symbolises these truths, is now giving forth its message to mankind to increase their faith in these troublous times, concerning which our Lord said: ‘When these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up Your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh’ (Luke:21:28).
WHAT, THEN, IS ITS WITNESS IN THE ECONOMIC CRISIS ?
To-day it is not necessary to attempt a proof of the scientific elements of the Great Pyramid’s Divine Revelation. Its truth is being daily demonstrated by the way current history is fulfilling the prophecy. The continued decline in the Spiritual power of the British race both in the British Empire and the United States of Arnerica, and its consequent rapid decline in economic power, are obvious and in accord with the Pyramid’s prophecy.
This knowledge would be cold comfort if we did not also know that this decline in economic power is a necessary process in preparing the British race for a new and better function in the world in the course of the next three years, and that the coming darkest days in our history are but a brief prelude to the dawn of a golden age for all mankind.
THE TRUE TEMPLE AND CITY OF GOD
The Great Pyramid’s scientific allegory unfolds itself as a predictive vision of the history of the world as this is seen FROM THE STANDPOINT OF SPIRITUAL PROGRESS, and in relation to movements, both of a spiritual nature and a material nature, that accelerate or retard spiritual progress. The theme is that of the mystical building of a Spiritual City and a Spiritual Temple on the earth, in which city and temple the builders themselves have to become the living stones of the spiritual buildings, by partaking of the mystical FLESH AND BLOOD of the World Saviour, who is at once the Master-Builder and the mystical structural framework of the TEMPLE itself.
The vision reveals that the efforts of the builders are hindered by their spiritual adversaries and by the sociological structure and the legislative system of THE FALSE CITY that already exists on the world site. To overcome this resistance – the Master-Builder is portrayed as Himself destined to enter into spiritual conflict with the adversaries, to suffer death as a builder, and, in overcoming the power of death, to overthrow the powers of spiritual darkness, before He can begin to raise the Spiritual Temple of Light, with Himself as ‘foundation’ and ‘Headstone of the Corner‘.
This vision, Divinely given five thousand years ago, shows us milestones in world history that stand revealed as dated epochs in history – then future, but now past. The epochs are correctly dated, and prior to the Passion of the Master, are shown to be epochs in Israel’s history, and, thereafter, nearer our own time, and into our own period, to be epochs in British history. The theme of the last-named element of the vision is, that although the Spiritual Temple has already been laid out and is in process of completion – the human race must undergo a GREAT CHANGE, analogous, in a metaphorical sense, to that in which the Master triumphed, before the mystical True City of God can be built. The British race is revealed as the first to undergo the trial and the first racially to experience the fruits of spiritual victory; and the dated epochs indicate we are now about to do so – to be stripped of material values, to become dead to their worth, and to be raised into dependence upon the values of the True City of God; to become, indeed, the first ‘living stones’, in that Holy City.
Thereafter, the rest of humanity, thus prepared by example, have to pass through the same cycle of mystical death to be finally raised as ‘living stones’ in successive racial or national raisings, into the mystical city that is to cover the whole earth.
‘THE TWO WITNESSES’
The function of the builders-first as Israel, and then as the British race-is revealed as a temporary function, prior to the Great Change frorn ‘builders’ to ‘living stones’. For since the world is dominated by the False City, it is necessary that temporary structures REFLECTING the Light of the True Temple and of the True City of God, should be built within the False City itself. It is shown that this function has been performed jointly by ecclesiastical and civil forms of government, first in Israel and then in the British race; that these temporary organisations have served their purpose, and that they must suffer disintegration, so that the new function of the race may be born in the process thereof. The temporary function is referred to in Revelation nine as ‘the testimony of the Two Witnesses’, and the predicted disintegration of British civil and ecclesiastical forms of government is symbolised as ‘the death of the Two Witnesses’. This identification explains what the Master meant when He told the Jews: ‘The Kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof’?’ (Matthew 21: 42, 43).
THE ROUTE OF THE EXODUS – A MYSTICAL ALLEGORY
‘… Not through THE WAY OF THE LAND OF THE PHILISTINES although that was near; … but … through THE WAY OF THE WILDERNESS OF THE RED SEA….’ (Exodus 13:17-18)
The Exodus of Israel from Egypt is one of a series of rnystically analogous events. The sequence of happenings at the Exodus rnystically prefigured the cycle of the Passion of Jesus Christ, and the Final deliverance of Christian Civilisation from economic oppression.
The three great epochs of ‘spiritual change’ in world history are, in consequence, portrayed in the Great Pyramid’s prophecy as the Epoch of the Exodus, the Epoch of our Lord’s Life, and the current tragic Epoch of Economic Oppression – including the period of the Great War.
ATTEMPTS TO BUILD THE STONE KINGDOM
Pyramid symbolism portrays two successive human attempts to build the Kingdom of God on earth, the Stone Kingdom or Pyramid nation bringing forth the fruits of the Kingdom. Both of these fail. The first under Israel and the Law failed, but, through the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Our Lord led up to the reconciliation, or salvation of the world.
The second, under the Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom and their exposition by the British race, is shown as failing, as the industrial civilization of the British Commonwealth of Nations, and the United States of America fails. But just as the casting of them away was the reconciling of the world, so now the finding of them is life from the dead (Romans 11: 15), and leads to the third attempt under the guidance and leadership of Our Lord. This third attempt is shown as succeeding during the millennial rule of Our Lord when the Stone Kingdom is built within the five corner stones symbolising that in the fellowship of Christ, all ye are one. For the casing stones were so joined together to make the Pyramid, symbolising the Nation to whom the Kingdom is given, appear as one single stone ruled over by Our Lord.
This stone, cut out without hand, though rejected by the builders, will ‘grow into a great mountain filling the whole earth’, for ‘I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me’.
In connection with the setting up of the Kingdom of God let us never forget Our Lord’s statement to the Jews (Matthew: 19:43), ‘The Kingdom of God is taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.’
Therefore to-day we should ‘present your bodies a living sacrifice to God, your reasonable duty’.
From the state of the world to-day, it is clear that, there is no nation bringing forth the fruits of the Kingdom of God, for never did the whole creation groan in travail more than now, waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God.
It is not until after the fall of Babylon the Great that the marriage of the Lamb takes place after his wife hath made herself ready (Revelation 19:7-8).
THE AGE OF GOLD-THE ANTE-CHAMBER AND 666
This special symbolism of the Great Pyramid relates to current times from August 2nd, 1909, to August 20th, 1953, and shows this time as the ‘consummation’ of our present civilization. The beginning of this time, August 2nd, 1909, is shown as the epoch of a new phase of transport and mass-production. It is related to an earlier epoch, 1844, the year of the Bank Charter Act.
Intense tribulation from August 4-5th, 1914, to November 11 th, 1918, the Great War period, accelerates these movements to their consummation. January 31 st, 1917, when Germany proclaimed her unrestricted submarine warfare which brought America into the war, is revealed by the index Pyramid, America’s own symbol on her Great Seal.
The Ante-Chamber period, from November 10-11 th 1918, to May 29-30th, 1928, is symbolised as a period of Divine intervention to stop the way for the sake of the elect.
The exact width of the ante-chamber is 65 inches. The antechamber is the chamber of the solar year circle, and this circle is the Pyramid’s symbol for Christ ‘the sun of righteousness’. Our Lord’s life is given by this symbolism as 321 solar years = 33 1/2 lunar years. The centre of the ante-chamber being the centre of the year circle and its floor axis lengthwise being the line of chronology, the half width 321 P. inch coordinates symbolise the duration of Our Lord’s life. The sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings (Matthew 4:2). The resulting half diagonal of the chamber is exactly 66.6 P. inch.
The geometrical layout of the antechamber system is to the scale of one-tenth of the general geometrical layout. Therefore 66.6 equals 666 as applied to the whole period of civilisation; 66.6 is the radius of a circle circumscribing the antechamber in plan, defining the initial epoch, March 1st, 1 918, and the terminal epoch, February 7th, 1929. On the former date Russia was faced with her historical dilemma at Brest Litovsk and on the latter date the London bank rate was raised from 41% to 51 %, thus signalling the beginning of a new phase in the battle of the Gold Standard.
Note: The Treaty of Brest Litovsk was signed two days later than March 1st, on which day Gerrnany held Russia squirming as in a vice of crushing terms.
The interval between the two dates is 3996 days, and the Pyramid’s interval between the zero date of this order of civilisation and Our Lord’s birth is 3996 years, a day for a year. The interval is 6 times 666. The symbolism shows that the function of Christ is to destroy that which 666 symbolises. 666 in the Book of Revelation is found in chapters thirteen (1-9) and seventeen (7-13), and signifies the consummation of human achievement without God, under a succession of despotic kingdoms (the first beast of Revelation 13). The second beast of Revelation 13 signifies neither an empire nor a republic. It signifies, nevertheless, an actual world power that controls the destinies of nations through the operation of money. Here we must realise that the Providence of God, under the rule of Christ, is contrasted with human providence-on-credit, under the rule of the second beast, or false prophet, or AntiChrist.
The latter claims, in terms of the prophecy, to be a beneficent power – the very ‘lamb of God’. AntiChrist decrees that the mark of the ‘first beast’ shall be set on the right hand and in the forehead of all who submit to his dictatorship. The right hand is the symbol of a Man’s physical strength (Job 11:14) and the forehead the symbol of his Spirit, intellect, personality (Ezekiel 11:8-9). These relate to the products of human endeavour, manual or intellectual, since ‘no man might buy or sell, save he who had the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of his name’.
Here is a system that is despotic, that limits supply and demand, not according to the law of supply and demand, but according to a perverted or immoral code, by control over that which connects both supply and demand – money.
Revelation 13:8: ‘Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666.’
666, the number of man, represents the absolute consummation of human labours, according to human reckoning. The reckoning is made in gold. It is symbolised by the 666 talents of gold brought to Solomon in a year (I Kings 10:14). It represents the material value of man’s work without God.
Anti-Christ is therefore represented during our present civilisation as reversing the Providence of God by giving life to the portable token of labour value – gold. Instead of the symbol gold possessing value only according to the increase of human effort or its decrease, gold is made the governing standard of human labour, human effort being throttled or speeded up by money or credit being released or withdrawn. It is not no work, then no money, but no money and then no work. This is as if the barometer controlled the weather, instead of merely showing the condition of weather prevailing.
However, Paul, in second Thessalonians chapter eleven, in referring to AntiChrist, says that after certain restraining influences have been withdrawn, ‘then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the Brightness of His Presence’. The withdrawal of this restraint is shown by the four grooves in the ante-chamber at the beginning of the last low passage to the king’s chamber.
Anti-Christ’s activities are very prominent now in all the big international and national movements in finance, commerce and industry, known as cartels, mergers and rationalisation, and the movement to set up an international banking institution not to mention ‘A United States of Europe’ and the League of Nations.
THE REJECTION OF DIVINE GUIDANCE
Nothing could be more beautifully simple than the Pyramid symbolism which deals with the Divine guidance being rejected in putting on the casing stones which represent our false civilisation, and the refusal of the Divine guidance in establishing the industrial era in the eighteenth century, and our return to the gold standard. The date given by the entrance of the descending passage way at the Casing Stone surface is 2625 B.C., January 10th- 11 th. At this date the noon reflection from the south side of the Pyramid was reflected directly back to its source. The sun being the visible symbol of the Son of Righteousness, the symbolic indication clearly signifies that at this time the builders refused the Divine guidance, and so built the casing stones incorrectly, causing the platform at the top to be too small to receive the Head Corner Stone.
This same phenomenon occurred at 1776, January 10th, on Paine’s Day, the real beginning of the American Republic, 176 days before July 4th, the date of the official setting up of what was to have been a new order in the ages or a true commonmealth, but which has issued in the worst example our industrial age can show of the mass production of articles we cannot use.
This same phenomenon occurred a third time at the date Decernber 2nd, 1924, the day of meeting of the British Parliament that went back on the gold standard as ‘the rock on which all stable government and civilisation is founded’ (The Times), thus again rejecting the Divine guidance which assures us that Jesus Christ is the rock on which any abiding order must be founded.
Thus England and the U.S.A., having led the nations into the false cul-de-sac of industrialism, it is only right that they, the building race, should be the shock absorbers for the rest of the nations, and now once more be the first to lead the nations from the material age into the age of spiritual power.
THE ALLEGORY OF DISPLACEMENT
The allegory of displacement is revealed by nature and science everywhere on the earth and in the visible universe, ‘For the whole creation groaneth in travail waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God.’
One cannot, however, read the allegory in nature and science until one has learnt the meaning ‘and application of’ the Divinely revealed allegory in the Great Pyramid. It is first unfolded in the Great Pyramid as an error in the building of the Great Pyramid. It is then expanded to reveal the work of the building race on the earth as reaching its consummation in an error of displacement or deviation from the Divine Plan, and in the, consequent collapse of our materialistic civilisation.
Expanding the allegory, we see the whole visible universe of matter revealed as a false structure, displaced from the true Creation of the Great Architect of the Universe. The error of the cosmic builders of our visible universe in attempting to duplicate in material form the perfection of God’s Creation is responsible for all the imperfections that human science has attributed to God, and which have caused humanity to deny a loving God or the perfection of His Creation.
This allegory of displacement alone answers any criticisrns that have or can be raised against a loving God.
For the Master-builder, the rejected of the cosmic builders of our visible universe –‘the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world‘- is shown preceding into the material world, those who, the Sons of God, had rejected Him; overcoming ahead of them the difficulties they could not overcome; opening the way of return to a higher spiritual life of creative effort; that those who had rejected Him should accept Him as their Master-builder, that the error of our visible universe might be eliminated and our physical being brought into harmony with the perfect Creation of God.
This allegory therefore shows that God in His foreknowledge prepared His plans, before the work of Creation began, to correct the error of the builders and its effect in our visible universe in such a way as would best instruct both them and the whole Creation in the principles and practice of true spiritual building. Therefore, in spirit they descended into bondage in the work of their own building. To redeem them from this bondage, the rejected Master builder Himself descended into the bondage of physical being, to raise them up to a higher spiritual plane of life than that from which they fell when they became earth bound.
In the foreknowledge of God, Christ was pre-elected to fulfil this purpose, and to become the first and head ‘Living Stone’ of the perfect structure.
Man was given and should have spiritual dominion over the earth. Through the error of the cosmic builders of our visible universe the creative spirit of man is displaced from the true spiritual centre. Through, the descent and ascent of the Master builder in Jesus Christ, man is to have this lost spiritual power or dominion restored. For Our Lord left the glory that He had with the Father before the world was to come and find that which was lost – Man.
When the Kingdom of God on earth has been restored through the rule of Christ, this spiritual power will belong to man again. ‘Greater things than these shall ye do, for I go to My Father’.
Before man can receive this gift of God, he must lose all that he has falsely built. We are even now going through this process of material collapse and loss.
CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS AND WORLD CHAOS
We are certainly living in an age of the most intense spiritual depression and perplexity that the world has ever known. For this reason, the message of the Great Pyramid is specifically addressed to this age, and, in the fore-knowledge of God, has been shaped to meet the requirements of this age. Its science and symbolism establish and proclaim the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the actuality, the purpose and the efficacy of His Sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, and the relief from the burden of sin and perplexity to be found by the acceptance of His gracious invitation:
‘Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest’.
The Pyramid’s message of Salvation is to the individual. Its message of the Kingdom is to the organised community. In this dual message, two altemative and antagonistic conditions are portrayed for our own time.
The choice for the individual and the State is the same: ‘Christ or Chaos’.
The First principles governing the Pyramid’s month datings define that there are only two actual political parties and that both are spiritual. These are the Messianic Party and the Anti-Messianic Party (compare Paul, Ephesians 4:12). No merely human political party or system of government can possibly hope to combat successfully the human machinery of the Anti-Messianic Party unless it derives its life and impulse from the Messianic Party. This is the real message of the Pyramid’s prophecy for our own times. THE MESSAGE IS ADDRESSED TO THE BRITISH RACE AND MEANS THAT THE CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENTS OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ARE ON THE THRESHOLD OF CONSTITUTIONAL CRISES THROUGH WHICH ONLY THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST CAN BRING THEM SAFELY. It is true that there is the Gospel of Salvation for the individual but there is also the Gospel of the Kingdom for the organised community. The latter is not any spiritual Kingdom in Heaven, but Christ’s Kingdom on earth, and WE ARE LIVING IN THE DAYS IN WHICH NO CONSTITUTION WILL SURVIVE EXCEPT BY HAVING JESUS CHRIST AS THE ACKNOWLEDGED HEAD AND COUNSELLOR IN STATE DELIBERATIONS AND DECISIONS. The message relates to collective prayer and the power of collective prayer in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
‘Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things which shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.’
