THE TRUTH ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE

By

Australia

True, we are experiencing a change in our climate. Weather conditions have changed for the worse with increased intensity and frequency. We are experiencing floods and drought, dabymaging gale force winds, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones and typhoons, freezing weather, violent storms and lightning strikes.

The use of coal in industry including electric power stations is bearing the brunt of condemnation as the major causes of the pollution that is claimed to be the cause of these changing weather conditions.

Is that true or is it a scapegoat? Is it a cover up of the real cause of the reality of change in our climate?

What we need to do is to find someone who can come up with the truth on this matter, rather than listen to the opinions of someone who claims to have some knowledge on this subject.

What better place then, can we go to than to God Himself who reveals the truth through His written word – The Bible.

Turn to Amos 4:7-8, God causes it to rain upon one city and not on another. That implies God causes it to flood in some places and drought conditions elsewhere. Job 5:10 along with Isaiah 5:6 say much the same thing. Psalm 135:6-7 Besides rain God includes lightning and wind. Exodus 9:23-24 Includes thunder and hail. Psalm 107:25-29 even stormy winds are raised up by God that has bearing on the waves of the sea. Ezekiel 13:11,13; Nahum 1:1-6 and Matthew 8:26,27 say much the same thing.

All these Scriptures point to God being in control of our weather patterns. He is responsible for the change in our climate.

We never hear the media, government, the church, environmentalists or our leaders say that it is God who has  brought  on  us   the   devastation   we   are experiencing. This is because theologians are silent on matters that express God’s anger and fury against us because we are not keeping His commandments. To receive the love of God we are to be keeping His commandments. I John 5:3

See what it now has to say in Ezekiel 20:45-49. These verses are about God lighting fires in Australia. (It says “in the south”, Australia is in the south). Fires that will burn up our forests. Fire we cannot control or put out until it has done its damage. In South West Victoria, here in Australia, hot and dry weather conditions prepared the way for a lightning strike in bush land in December 2016. The fire that began as a result of that strike could not be put out by our fire fighters, that by the 25 th December, more than one hundred homes were burnt to the ground. Nowhere was it said that it was God who lit that fire.

Because there was no mention of God having lit that fire, there was no question asked as to why He would do that. No one would even think of such questioning. Theologians or those who claim to represent God in the church have taught us to believe that God is a God of love and would not do such a thing. No thought would be given to why God would do such a thing. It was not said in Ezekiel 20 as to why God lit that fire so we will have to look elsewhere to know. Turn to Jeremiah 21:12-14 God was furious with these people “because of the evil of their doings” that He punished them with fire to their forests that devastated everything in its path. It could not be put out. So it is with us in Australia.

The evil that is happening in this country is why we are being punished by God. But the people in this country are blind so that they don’t see it that way because there is no knowledge of God. Theologians have failed to teach them the basic foundational laws and commandments God has given us to build on.

We in this country even as other countries are experiencing what we call natural calamities. It can also be called acts of God. These natural calamities or acts of God are now put down to climate change. Nothing is said about it being punishment from God for the evil of our doings.

Violation of law exacts a penalty. That is what is happening we are violating the laws of God and for that reason we are bearing the consequences.

It is not the coal fired furnaces that are causing climate change, though it does contribute to the cause. It is the evil of our doings. Some bush fire may be due to arsonists, that if caught we blame and convict.

Now I want you to turn to I Kings 11:14here it says that God stirred up an adversary against Solomon, whom we may call a terrorist, he could also be an arsonist. In verses 23-25 here is a whole cell of terrorists whom God had raised up to oppose Israel. But why? See the answer in vs. 33.

The people had turned to worshipping  pagan gods. So it is in this country, theologians or those who stand in the pulpit claiming to be Christian are preaching in the name of Christ, doctrines of their own particular church or religion along with traditions of men in their services. See Matthew 7:21-23. They are not asking what is this evil of our doings for which we are being punished by God through the natural calamities we are experiencing? They put it down to climate change. It should be obvious. Immorality by the priesthood to vulnerable children, unjust abortions  (some are justified), greed for revenue, injustice in the courts of law, crime and violence on the streets and into our homes, drugs , corruption and much more.

It is no wonder God is angry with us that we are being punished for all this evil. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for sexual immorality and we are headed in the same direction.

If we want any improvement in the climate we will have to change our ways as God says in Acts 17:30

“… but God now commands all men everywhere to repent.”

Closing down coal fired furnaces will be of little help if any at all. It all comes back to whether we obey God or not. See Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. Our standard of living will suffer should we continue to ignore the commandments of God.

Listening to some foolhardy individual who ignores the written word of God, won’t solve our problems. God gave us coal to be used. It is of no use if it is left in the ground.

To ignore God is to bury our head in the sand, we won’t learn anything there. For violating the laws of God we will be punished one way or another until we admit that there is a God who  is  in  control  of  our weather. Until such a time we will be floundering in our ignorance.

We are already paying a high price for our failure to obey God in that He is withholding from us His blessings. We are suffering from our actions that can be seen by the mounting road fatalities, sickness and disease, homelessness, divorce rates, cost of living, political upheaval, political correctness and the list goes on and on. These are not blessings from God, they are curses we are bringing upon ourselves .
