CHAPLAIN’S PAGE: THE PILOT LIGHT

By

ENGLAND

Those of us who have been granted the Kingdom Truth are in a unique position. Although the church scorns the truth, it should not deter us. In fact, it should encourage us, especially in these very dark days which herald the return of Jesus Christ. The prophets of Israel were given visions of these times, and also that they would end in restoration for all Israel. Throughout many generations of darkness there has always  been a light, however dim, burning within the nation. Never has it been totally obscured, for God’s word is that light. Within a very short time after Christ’s resurrection men and women, burning with that light brought the Gospel to these shores.

During the dark ages, that light was suppressed when Rome forced her vile teaching upon the nation. Even so, there were always those who were given a vision of God’s love for His chosen people. The glorious Reformation, so scorned and derided by many ‘so called’ Protestant churches today, brought to an end the ‘blackout’ period of our island history. Rome, ever watchful, jumped in, and so the counter-reformation commenced.

The average Christian today has no concept of the danger and joins the world in its adulation of the ‘Pope of the people’. Ever smiling and sitting down and drinking coffee with the man and woman in the street. How easily they have been misled, for once a Jesuit, always a Jesuit! Again, the world is fooled by Putin, whose persona is of a Christian man of the people. How cleverly he puts the West to shame by banning same sex marriage. He makes the West look the total fools that we are! The world overlooks the fact that, once a KGB man, always a KGB man. Do we ever learn?

There has always been a light, a pilot light, which is never completely extinguished. Hardly visible to the naked eye, and missed by the vast majority, of Christians who fail to observe the deep things of God. What is this pilot light which burns throughout  the centuries? It is the Kingdom Truth, a golden thread from Genesis to Revelation. Could it be wishful thinking by those who like to see supposed truths which do not exist? Indeed no, for those truths are sealed by Almighty God through His covenants to the Israel fathers. Could it be, as most Christians believe, that they were just to the Jews? If this is the case, then God must have overlooked that there is more than one tribe, namely Judah.

The creation is weighed and everything numbered, is it therefore possible for God to have missed out on the number of tribes? The church has tried to explain God’s supposed error by inventing replacement theology. That is to say that the church has taken on Israel’s mantle. Whilst the church is only too willing to accept the blessings, it is in no hurry to take up the cursings!

“God is not human, that he should lie, nor a human  being, that he should change  his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?” (Numbers 23.19).

To ignore the promises and covenants, to a literal seed is presumptuous, to say the least. That Pilot Light of the Kingdom Truth throughout the centuries makes sense of both biblical and secular history. Without it there is no purpose for world events. How do those who deny it presume to know better than the creator? The question has been asked by many “Even if we are Israel, what difference does it make?” It makes all the difference between God being a God of Truth, who is incapable of keeping His word. The latter God is not worthy of praise or adoration. If Israel has ceased to exist, apart from the Jews, the outlook is bleak to say the least. Furthermore, if only Jews are left, how may the two sticks come together? (Ezekiel 37).

When, we may ask, did this mighty event take place? Clearly, it is still future. When it happens, it won’t be in a corner the entire world will see the Almighty God in action. There will be no doubt as to what is happening. One cannot, dare not ignore what the prophets were commanded to write because it doesn’t fit man’s theories. To those who still doubt the Kingdom Truth, the following question must be asked. If the twelve tribes no longer exist, then why are their names inscribed upon the gates of the New Jerusalem? “It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.” (Revelation 21.12). If only Judah is extant at that time there would be no point.

Returning to the main theme “The Pilot Light” it is almost certain that the knowledge of our racial identity has been kept alive throughout the centuries. Books written centuries ago bear their own testimony. Even today, this time of Jacob’s trouble, many are given spiritual strength to withstand the darkness of these times by understanding our identity. This is the key to understanding so many prophecies which otherwise would make no sense. Jeremiah, for example, was moved to write

“How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it. In that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them. Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.’So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,’ declares the Lord. ‘I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid. For I am with you and will save you,’ declares the Lord. ‘Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’ This is what the Lord says: “‘Your wound is incurable, your injury beyond healing. There is no one to plead your cause, no remedy for your sore, no healing for you. All your allies have forgotten you; they care nothing for you. I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as would the cruel, because your guilt is so great and your sins so many.  Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you.” Jeremiah 30:7-15

Today we are slaves to those who really rule over us. Even as this is being penned (December 2020), it has just been announced that we owe Europe 1.7 billion  pounds that we were not expecting. This is the same old story which brought about the Reformation. We ere being milked of our material assets by Rome Ecclesiastical, the scene never changes!

Because we  have ignored the Lord’s commands, the curse for disobedience now weighs heavily upon us.

“The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail. All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees, he gave you.” (Deuteronomy 28:43- 45).

Some will say that all those things related to the nation thousands of years ago, and have no meaning for the 21st century. They have conveniently forgotten that God’s memory is longer than mans! The passing centuries may seen long to man, but to God they are nothing, Seven hundred years before Christ came to redeem His people, Isaiah was moved to write

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord: Look to the  rock from which  you were  cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn; look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many. The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing. “Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations. My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm.” Isaiah 51:1-5

Always, we are enjoined, as a people, to look back to our national roots. This will ensure that we will always keep close to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We must not, dare not, in these final days forget our national roots. They constantly remind us why we were created. The long arduous journey of the passing centuries has had a purpose: to train us for service for the soon coming Kingdom Age.

As the special people duly appointed and anointed, we will be fully trained in the fires of affliction to be His body politic. Those who are obedient to His word will respond to the great call when He, whose right it is, will sit upon the Throne of David on Zion’s Holy Hill. That Pilot Light, at present, a mere glimmer, will burst forth and its radiance will shine throughout the entire world. Even those nations who hate God and His Christ will eventually acknowledge His rule.

Surely, Paul’s appearance before Agrippa is a wonderful witness to God’s love for all the nations, but in due time. His first love is to Israel, His inheritance, and then to the Gentiles. Paul speaks of his incredible conversion on the Damascus Road and adds the purpose of his ministry to Agrippa thus:

‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.  I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ (Acts 26:16-18).

Every nation outside of Israel will be taught and gradually throughout the thousand years will learn to understand and accept the Divine Principles of love and obedience. This will be the calling of the reconstituted Kingdom of God on the earth.

Some may say that such a long, intensive training is quite unnecessary. When we think about nations which have embraced Islam, they know of no other religion, they are totally indoctrinated. It will not go away from their minds in five minutes. Those, who throughout the centuries, have understood the Kingdom Truth and have responded to its call, will be in the forefront of the greatest teaching ministry this world will ever see. Those who have studied God’s wonderful Word, hour after hour, year after year, will use that knowledge to God’s glory with love and patience.

In these days which grow darker and darker, I am reminded of Elijah, and how he had to run for his life from that dreadful woman  Jezebel.  Sometimes we feel like running away from all the grot of this vile world system. However, having come thus far, it is our sacred duty to remain on duty and be ready to bring others into the glorious Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom. May we all be found worthy to obey the call when the Lord returns.
