THE ENSIGN MESSAGE

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

By

I HAVE made the point all along that the real agenda of Prime Minister Tony Blair is Europe; wars in Iraq and other ventures are but the smokescreen. This has become evident with the imminent signing-up to the new European Constitution, a move which has far more serious and long-range implications for Britain than the fight for Ewing Oil in Iraq. Yes. the new EU Constitution will abolish jury trials and habeas corpus: yes, it will usher in repressive new laws as well as a European Police Force; yes. it will further erode the authority of our home parliaments. But don’t be deceived: that is not the purpose of the EU Constitution. Its purpose is to destroy the United Kingdom. And more specifically its purpose is to undermine the manifestation of God’s Kingdom on earth: the Throne of David.

Scripture is clear on this: that the authority of God on earth in a governmental sense is the Throne of David. The highest authority on earth is this Throne (Psalm 89:27). All other national leaders and all other nations are to serve the Throne of David (Psalm 72:11). Only yesterday I heard of yet another radio poll on whether we should scrap the monarchy. But all such polls are nonsense, as well as being rebellious. God is the establisher and builder-up of the Throne of David (Psalm 89:4). Remember this the next lime you pray the Lord’s Prayer – Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. God’s will is the establishing of His Kingdom, both spiritually in the hearts of men and women, and governmentally in the material realm through His appointed seat of authority – theThrone of David. Hence the scriptural injunction to pray for kings and those in authority. God’s divine order must be implemented and that order and rank is the Throne of David exercising dormnion over the whole earth (Psalm 72:8). Indeed, the extent of The Davidic monarchy is prophetically foretold in Psalm 72:8 where the term “ends of the earth” is used. In Biblical times, this was the common name ascribed to the British Isles.

So all debates about the monarchy are futile since our British monarchy as The Throne of David, is established by the covenant of the day and night (Jeremiah 33:19-21). The solemn oath of God is The foundation of our British throne.

This makes the machinations of Blair all the more reprehensible. His determined attempts to erode our national sovereignty are clearly in transgression of the will of God. It is God’s purpose we be a holy people. This simply means “separated”. Separated to what? The will of God. We are His people. Under the proposed European Constitution, British citizens would be more tightly held under the yoke of the RC-centred European Union superstate. This cannot be God’s will. Psalm 89, one of the great scriptural documents relating to the Throne of David and its destiny in the earth, very tellingly reminds us of the breaking of Egypt’s yoke of slavery upon Israel. Freedom is God’s will for us. Not freedom to do our own thing, which is licence, but freedom from bondage, which the EU’s taskmasters are itching to place us under.

People are waking up to Blair. Richard Littlejohn, in the May 16th 2003 edition of The Sun says that Tony Blair is out to destroy the United Kingdom. I wholly concur with this. But I want to be more specific: Blair’s purpose is to systematically destroy the Throne of David. He has been sent to dismantle the British Constitution and our institutions. Recently I had a vision where I saw Blair putting a 1oop around one leg of The Throne with the intent of pulling on the rope at a critical moment. I have to remind you that you couldn’t do this unless you were close to the Throne. Blair is a pretend-Royalist, giving out that he is loyal to The Queen, while his policies are distinctly opposite to this. It is vital to understand that anything which works against the establishing and building-up of the Davidic monarchy is thus anti the purposes of God.

It is clear from even a casual reading of Psalm 89 that the awesome authority and power promised to David and his descendants is dependent upon obedience to God. In short, the last part of the Psalm shows us that this power and authority can be diminished by wickedness practised by disobedient incumbents of the Throne. To put it plainly a spiritual dud on the Throne is bad news for the nation. Hence the apprehension felt by some over the prospect of the present Prince of Wales ascending to the Throne. The man who would be “defender of faith” might do so while those who espouse THE faith are being persecuted for it. Those who study the EU are more than aware of its increasing intransigence with what you would call evangelical Christianity. Roman Catholicism is the state religion of The state called the European Union. No other forms of Christianity are acceptable – and this will become more defined as time goes on.

I have become increasingly more conscious of the need in our nation for that awesome vision propounded and expounded by old John McPhee – the vision of the Godly Monarch – a man (or woman) sold out to God, occupying the Throne of David, reigning in the authority of Jesus Christ. In effect, this would be the ruling over Britain by the King within the king. Think of it – a born-again, Spirit-filled, Bible-believing, Rome-shunning king or queen, reigning in the conscious knowledge of his or her place in the divine destiny. Such a godly monarch would refuse all bills and petitions placed before him/her by Parliament which did not reflect the holy standard God has ordained for this great nation. In particular, those which would do injury to the Coronation Oath to maintain and defend the Protestant faith.

Some would argue that Tony Blair is unaware of these things, that he is simply doing his best to get the best deal for Britain. Some may naively believe that but one thing is certain: those behind him definitely know that a Britain ruled by such a monarch is a terror to everv God-defying nation on earth. Because there is nothing God would not do for a king or queen occupyng David’s Throne who honours Him and the Davidic Covenant He has made. Read Psalm 89 and see for yourself: God exalts David and his descendants (v.19). He makes them invincible (v.21). God beats down their enemies arid plagues them (v.23). God will make the Throne of David His right hand in the earth (v.25). God will exalt the Throne of David over every other earthly power (v.27).

These are just some of the blessings promised to the House of David. There is strong scriptural evidence that the great endtimes battle is a battle between the British monarchy and the Babylon system of the Vatican, which means that the great issue of the EU is of world-changing importance to every believer in these islands. If you are believing God for revival arid blessing, you need to understand that lasting benefits and blessings must come through the Throne of David. Psalm 72:17 makes it clear that blessing for all nations will come through this Throne. So you must factor this into your prayers for revival. God Save the Queen is not just our national anthem, it is a prayer you are commanded by Scripture to pray (see I Timothy 2:1-3).

I want to say most strongly that, if you have been guilty of regarding the Throne lightly or even dismissing it, then you need to repent before God of this wicked attitude. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, Your opinions and mine are not important, only what God says matters. He is covenanted to support and glorify the Throne of David on earth. Indeed, the Bible says in Zechariah that in the last days He will make the House of David like God. Now that is some promise!

Remember this: God’s Word is the foundation of our Royal Throne and your prayers bring about the manifestation of His promises to His servant, David.

A Prayer for Davidic Kings

Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given to him. May people ever pray for him and bless him all day long.

May his name endure for ever: may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.

PSALM 72:15,17 NIV
